A Red Rose Frames Me

Sightless and shy,
A cocoon woven around me.
Diary of the events of my life,
Imperious upon me.
Keen to keep all i have left;
Simple happiness surrounds me.
Having to posses my own life,
Abandoning the commands that sap my strength.

A blazing fire surrounds me
Confident in those i know and remember,
Half-hearted laughter bothering me
Above all i know.
Riddles of life given to me,
Yearning to love all i know.....
