Metallic Iron

~This poem was written as a social-studies project. I thought it would be a good decision to post it. so please tell me what you think!! = D
thankyou!!~

Metallic Iron

I walk down the corridor, leaving
Uneasy feelings behind. Remembering the
Experiments I've done. One after another.

Closing my eyes, and
Seeing the ones walking with me,
giving me confidence.

My father, walking alongside of me. His
face confident and eyes sparkling but
Firm. Looking ahead.

Opening my eyes, I'm
In my office, sitting. Presentation
All but incomplete. Too much stress.
I let myself relax.

Closing my eyes once more, I
See my grandfather, same as I've always
Remembered him. He sits down infront of
Me. The same eyes and the same smile as
My father, but this time, looking at me.

The imaginary smell of
Metallic iron reaching my
Nose. I rise up, and look around.
In my lab.

I may have no chalk or
Marker to teach students.
But I've a pen to write,
And a notebook to be written in.
I "teach" what I've
Discovered with it.

To the out-lookers.

It is good. But I couldn't figure out whether this poem is describing confidence or frustration.

Wow! my sweetheart! I never read this poem seriously before. I am proud of you my baby! What a wonderful write up. I like the way you expressed. I like the way you feel. Yes, no doubt, your grandfather is always smiling at your confidence and sure your father too.

keep writing my dear....
